Reloading 9MM just to make sure
4.7 to 4.9 grains bullseye powder
Federal small magnum pistol primers No. 200
124 GR HP/XTP Hornady Bullets
OAL IN. 1.12 minimum
Just want to make sure I don't hurt me or the gun.
What does Bbl length mean?
Thanks

Barrel length , I do not have my book up here But if you got this info from one of the Reloading books you should be OK, if this came off the Internet, DO NOT use it. I always start out at Min, loads and work up. and you do not need mag, loads to punch paper.

Re: Reloading 9MM just to make sure
When I was loading 9mm, I used a 4.0 grain of Bullseye load with small pistol primers.
Don't know why you would use small pistol magnums for a 9mm.

Don't think that I would use that load with Mag. primers. 4.7-4.9 Bullseye is a hot load with a 124gr. bullet. Don't know how the primer change will affect pressure. Call Caroll Pilant at Sierra 800-223-8799. My guess would be that primer is a no-no.

You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.
