    Default FirstEnergy Stadium

Tried searching but didn't see anything. My nephews are coming out in June and I am taking them out to see a game at FirstEnergy Stadium. Is carrying okay there? Any metal detectors or pat downs?

No metal detectors or pat downs, not last season anyway. I haven't been there this year. I don't know what their firearms policy is, but you know the saying. Concealed means concealed.

Couldn't find mention of firearms on the website. Found this:

The Reading Phillies reserve the right to search any person, their bags, and possessions carried into the ballpark.
    and this:

FirstEnergy Stadium Guidelines - back to top
    - No outside food or drink are permitted into FirstEnergy Stadium.
    - Tickets may not be sold or given out anywhere on the premises.
    - Giveaway items are limited and are therefore not guaranteed. Only one giveaway item per person is permitted. Eligible person must be present to receive the giveaway.
    - Parking is free - management is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles.
    - Smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas
    - General admission tickets guarantee entrance into the stadium but seating is based upon availability.
But, nothing even mentioning firearms. Just remember, if asked to leave, you must, or face trespassing charges.

Yeah I figured they probably check bags for outside food etc. Just wasn't sure if there were metal detectors or if the place was posted. Thanks for the info and reply.

I know the Sovereign center has a no firearms policy. But I wear a hockey jersey to the games, so concealed means concealed, and it's VERY easy to conceal under a hockey jersey

Just an update that I was at a R-Phils game recently and it's CC-friendly. No pat-downs, metal detectors, etc. There was security at the gate, but they only seemed to care about those that looked suspicious.

Always get a screen cap of the website ahead of time too, some folks have been known to change their site then try to say it was there all along (ala the Richmond Coliseum and the Gun Save Lives stickers there)

I was at a game today, and they are still CC-friendly. No one was doing pat-downs, and there were no metal detectors.

    Thumbs up Re: FirstEnergy Stadium

Was heading to a Fightin' Phils game today and couldn't find info on their site or FES site...googled and came across this thread. Figured I would chime in and note that I was able to CC there today with no problems. No checks/pat downs/detectors. I suppose we still have no solid answer as to whether they "allow" it, but they certainly don't check it or have signage posted.
