    Default 357 sig question

I just realized I can change the barrel on my Glock 22 or 27 with the equal length 357 sig barrel and I am good to go. It seems the 40 cal mags may even work.If not new followers or mags are no prob. I can do this for about a hundred bucks. My question is it worth it? Will the 357 get me accurate out to 100 yards like my revolvers do? The police seem to be liking the 357 sig. Is it better for defense? Thanks.

The .357 SIG cartridge is a necked-down version of the .40 S&W, it's primarily a penetration/ high speed round. That generally leads to flatter trajectory, which is good for long-range work.

That being said, it's still slower than a .357 magnum cartridge, and might accelerate wear on your gun.

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
