    Is this worth going to?

I'm looking for a handgun for the fiance and reloading components. Is it worth the hour travel time?

I have gone there and been disapointed and been there and both sold and purchased firearms so it has been hit and miss for me. I usually go wander through if I have time.

I liked it a lot better the one time it was in the Columbia Mall. It is too bad they will not return to that venue.

I'm driving 2.5 hrs one-way Saturday, weather permitting. This show last fall was in two side-by-side buildings and there were numerous dealers with selections of handguns, and at least two dealers with good selections of reloading components. That was then; this time ???

There were several dealers with C&R rifles and pistols; some C&R stuff was priced at market going rate, and some dealers had fairly aggressive (high / SEPA) prices on their C&R merch. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

I was at the Eagle Arms show in Wind Gap last week. It was the first one I had been to. It seemed a little bit on the small side, but I still consider myself a bit of a "Newbie" and I still found it quite enjoyable. There was not much ammo there, short of self-boxed reloads and less common ammo like the 9x18. On a side note, I found the hot sauce table quite interesting and regret not having purchased a bottle of "Liquid Lucifer!"

This show is growing and only getting better as it does so. A good selection of varied vendors with a wide range of items. Prices also vary accordingly, of course as this is norm as per gun show pricing. The food consession is run by the local no-kill animal shelter and is pretty good and reasonably priced. The isles are wide and well laid-out. The only negative would be the fair grounds being sort of tucked away near town and two building layout. However these are only negligable drawbacks. To find the fairgrounds just follow the signs and there is a connecting hallway to the second building. It's not like you have to go outside to get there. Just make sure you don't miss it. BTW, the food and the restrooms are in the second building.

I'll be set up there, in the second building. Drop by the Highland Arms tables and say "Hi". I'll have my usual ARs and C&R collectables. I also have a few very nice S&Ws I just got in.

Looking forward to the show. Hoping to sell a Mosin and pick up another k31 on Sunday. It will be my 6 year old first gun show.....right of passage.
