went to a "tea party" on the forth...
in Wellsboro, PA
what a waste of time.. the guy heading it up said the 2nd amendment is only for home protection. So I said,"that's it huh?" just for the home?" So I said,
here's what Thomas Jefferson said...."The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
I forgot to tell him this..."The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it."
His response was a peaceful demenstration... for "change".. so I said, "what if that's not enough?" And there was some fruit cake with whoppie cushions on his head with a hat and a banner that said "let it out". What a meatball. He said peaceful resolution was the only way...So A gal holding a flag, a big flag said, "take it up with Thomas Jefferson" LOL
Seems like talking about our problems just ends with talking.Last edited by chucksniper; July 8th, 2009 at 10:03 PM.

Thats why we were armed when we went. Because they wouldn't have a 1st Amendment if it wasn't for a 2nd Amendment
See the Tea Party we went to at http://forum.pafoa.org/pennsylvania-...a-parties.html
