Academy of Music in Philly...

Going to see Chris Rock at the Academy of Music this week. Anyone know what the entry procedure is like there? Any frisking going on? I'd rather not go downtown defenseless.

I was just down at the kimmel center and all was clear..no problems at all...hopefully the academy maintains similar policies....Since you will be seeing Chris Rock I wouldn't bet on it.

Chris Rock isn't anti-gun to my knowledge. That whole sketch about $50,000 bullets solving crime was very tongue-in-cheek.

That isn't what I meant...The chances increase that there will be more security at a chris rock concert than say..a ballet or classical concert. Also the demographic of the audience will come into play.

Demographic??? Do a little research on his audience demographic before you make a statement. Also, stop being so quick to assume a racial or age thing.

I've seen a few shows there, and there was no security, only the ticket takers.
