oc'ing in micro center in radnor pa
just left this place oc'ing and all went well, no stares or shelves falling over. I even sat and played with that gorgeous macbook pro that i want so bad.
Overall this is my 1st time oc'ing in Micro center and ofcourse i started my "urecorder" app on my iphone before i stepped out of the car so if anything would have been said then it would have been recorded...

I've OC'd there many times without any issues.

Been there OC over a dozen times - never any issues.

Carried in there before
Be careful with recording people like that.
It can be a felony. You can't record people without their consent
in many situations

Re: oc'ing in micro center in radnor pa
The PA wiretapping law does not cover oral communications when the speakers do not have an "expectation that such communication is not subject to interception under circumstances justifying such expectation."
Basically, you're just fine recording in a public place where anyone could overhear what you are talking about anyway. Common sense is a perfectly reasonable substitute for knowing the letter of the law in this case.Last edited by vicious; November 13th, 2011 at 06:22 PM.

I suggest you research the law first rather than making snarky remarks about how you're right and I'm wrong.
Saying what the OP did is a felony is as foolish as saying any conversation held in a public place is not subject to PA's wiretapping law. While it is true that some conversations held in public may have some expectation of privacy, to make a blanket statement that recording all conversations in public is a felony is absurd.
Vicious summed it up quite nicely imo. It just so happens he's also the only one to actually post any snippet of a law .I am not a lawyer and nothing I say should be construed as legal advice.
