Russian Sniper fires on civillians

My first thought was, "try that in this country, you'll get shot back, with a REAL gun."

But that would be wrong - take cover, call the police. There'd be a few seconds, I must admit, where I might think it's a .22 or something, once I figured out where it was coming from.

What a pack of morons... Not just inconsiderate and dangerous (you'll shoot yer eye out!), the jackass is hanging his muzzle out for all to see! Ever hear of a loophole? Nope.

I'd have to take matters in my own hands if I got hit... Knock on the door, punch the moron with the gas mask in the nose, hit the rest with 10% pepper spray, take their pellet gun and shoot them all in the junk point blank.

Damn this holiday traffic got me feeling kinda froggy today...

This is an improper tactic. If one believes him or herself to be under the observation and direct fire from a sniper the proper battle drill is to run, and run far and fast. Keep running until you think the sniper is out of range or you put a large land feature between you. Taking cover is entirely useless because for all you know you could be wide open and in the kill zone. Hitting a moving target is always challenging, especially at distance. Add in a few zigs and maybe a zag or three and you increase your odds of survival if it is indeed a sniper.
