A lot of info....best thing to do is go here:

    http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=39

This forum has hashed and re-hashed the CETME platform and its issues, head on over and start reading, lots of great info there. Check out the "sticky" with FAQ's and answers.

New buffer? Cetme's have an internal buffer, never heard of one going bad, unless it is missing, if it is one of the aftermarket buffers that go in the back of the receiver when you disasemble it, just shitcan it. You don't need it.

A properly tuned Cetme will be extremely reliable, extremely low-recoil and extremely accurate.

LorDiego01, is that Perro's new forum?....was wondering what happened to the old CETME board.

Your link doesn't take you to the main forum though...

Shawn you won't have an unanswered question from all the info there.

Back to the Buffer...if it is the internal buffer that is bad and needs replacing, blackjack buffers makes a replacement.

Link to blackjack buffer with exploded diagram of the stock for replacement.

Yessir. Cetmerifles.com was brutally attacked by nefarious anti-gun hackers, to the point that it was just easier to start from scratch.

I don't think that Perro is hanging around the intertubes that much anymore, but his knowledge lives on.

That's a shame, his old site was a godsend when I bought my CETME, I had no clue about them, but I got a great deal on it at the time and couldn't pass it up.

Check the headspace on CETME's. They were notorious for headspace issues. There is a special procedure for check it on CETME's too, which you should research before shooting it. ...procedure that is different than just putting in a go/no-go/field gauge.
