PA Reciprocity Agreements Now At 17
This information is from the September 2008 PICS Firearm Dealer’s Newsletter (.PDF document), which also contains other useful info.
PA RECIPROCITY AGREEMENTS NOW AT 17
The following states have entered into formal written
reciprocity agreements with Pennsylvania providing
reciprocal recognition of valid licenses/permits issued by
both states: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida,
Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire,
North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee,
Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. (New
states added are in bold)
In addition to the above, Indiana, joins Colorado, Idaho,
Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, and Utah, granting
statutory reciprocity without a formal written agreement to
PA license holders.
Since this information changes frequently, please access
the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s web site at
www.attorneygeneral.gov, select “crime”; then “firearm
reciprocity” from the drop down prompt.
Previous issues of this newsletter can be accessed here.Last edited by HiredGoon; September 12th, 2008 at 04:56 AM.

If you visit the "LAW" tab of the forum you can see the reciprocity map, which has reflected those states for a little while now.
17 formal agreements and 7 statutory agreements making a total of 24 for our license plus Vermont where you don't need a license at all. Also Mississippi recognizes our license but it's unclear if we recognize theirs.

Just wondering where you got the info about Miss? According to the PA AG site, Miss. is in Category 5:
State does not recognize or grant licenses/permits to individuals from another state, currently does not extend reciprocal privileges to Pennsylvania license holders, or has not indicated current status.

From the Mississippi firearms unit web site: (which is why I worded my post the way I did)
http://www.dps.state.ms.us/dps/dps.n...3?OpenDocument
With what other states does Mississippi have reciprocity? (Whose permits do we honor, who honors ours?)
Mississippi has Reciprocal Agreements with :
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan,Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, & Wyoming.

Hmmmm, yeah, I see what you mean...seems to be some conflict there between the two official sites. Oh well, I don't ever intend on going to Miss. anyway
But, OHIO would be nice to have on our PA LTCF, rather than getting a UT or FL permit to cover Ohio.

Damn! I got all excited when I saw this thinking Maine may have finally pushed theirs through but no such luck
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Ohio would be real nice to have, so would NY but that'll never happen.

Ohio will never reciprocate as PA has no training requirement and OH law only allows reciprocity if the license requirements are essentially the same. You can get Ohio with FL and UT for example.
