Lazy mans food plot?
Considering putting a food plot over at my parents house, the area is shaded and wooded so tilling the land would not work well (lots of roots). Its been under leaf cover for several years as noone does anything on it.
Any ideas for a lazy version of a food plot that I can do there? maybe 1/4 acre give or take. I'd prefer to basically remove the leaves, maybe some raking to scuff up the ground and throw the seeds down and thats about it.
Not really looking for massive antler growth, just trying to keep the deer a little closer so they don't wander off into the area where the army of Orange is.The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

It's tough to get anything to grow in really shady areas...I tried.
Get a deer feeder and remember to remove it 30 days before you hunt.
