Any dirtbikers or ATVers?
Anyone on here into riding quads or bikes? I found another post in this section related to this topic but it didn't seem to be too popular. I ride an 06 Kawi KLX250 dual sport not a very powerful bike but I can go from the road to the dirt and back legally.

Re: Any dirtbikers or ATVers?
As a kid I was into dirt bikes big time. Started out with a Honda XR80 I bought with paper route money and went to 125's 250's etc... In my early 20s I got into Harleys and went thru five big twins, but recently I got nostalgic for my youth and bought a Kawasaki KLR 650 dual sport in 05. Too heavy to be a real off road bike, but good enough to rip down trails and fire roads. In the warmer months it is my daily driver back and forth to work.
Also had a 2001 Honda EX400 quad. I bought that new and had a blast with it until I ran out of local places to ride and i did not have enough free time to trailer it up state. I had six good years on it though and it did not owe me a cent.
If I had the room to ride and the time to ride I would have a full on two stroke dirt bike now.

AMA 250 (mostly B calss, some A) From 1991-1999.
These days it's a XR600 that I use to trail ride with my oldest who has a YZ 80.
Next year the lil guy gets a 50.
We should get a PAFOA trail ride set up. DCNR has lots of trails open to us.

Yes. $35 and they are good all year. Dirt bikes don't need to be registered however 4-wheelers do.

Have a 2001 Kawasaki KLR650 with low milage, a Kawasaki Brute Force 650i and Honda 250ex. Have a ball riding but am looking to sell the kLR for a real bike (read Harley) when I can afford it.
Tough finding places to ride around here, have to do most of my riding in McKean Co. LOTS of places to ride up there!!

I started off with a honda 250x quad, then bought an xr400 in 98, got rid of that to buy a harley. i would like to get back into dirtbikes, just nowhere close to ride right now
