Shipping mags to house?
Is it legal to buy PMAGS online and have them shipped to my house or do I have to send them to an FFL first?
I must have bad Google-fu because I cannot find an answer to this for nothing. I did have a CZ Kadet kit shipped to my house, so I couldn't imagine why mags or optics or any other accessories would be any different.
Stranger things have happened though. For instance, apparently in Maryland it's illegal to purchase 30 round mags, but you can own and posses them... cool.
Also, as a side note, what is a "reasonable" price for a typical 30 rd 5.56 mag? Have the prices subsided since the political scare or are they still pretty inflated?

Yes. In any quantity, color, or capacity you wish.
I think they run around $9/$10 for "plain" ones now as opposed to the ones I sold to someone for $45 each - used - during the panic.
Don't let anyone make you feel bad if you pay $11 though. Gun owners tend to be tight-asses and berate you if you spend a penny more at "Store X" than they sell for at "Store Y".
When your credit card melts, it may be time to slow down.Last edited by Emptymag; November 9th, 2013 at 12:11 AM.

Long as it is legal in your state to own, yes they can be shipped. Currently they are legal in Pa.
There are different Gens of the pmags and with or without window and the colours.. But they are back down to about 12-16$ each at the LGS around me.The problem with shooting Chinese bullets is 15 minutes later you wanna shoot again.

Don't believe either of them!!!
You MUST first ship them to my house. I will then check them for legality and functionality for use in your location. Expect this process to take no longer than a year or two. And because you are a member of PAFOA, I'll waive my normal fees.
I'll PM you my address.

For PA and Delaware and other states Yes. Buy away.
With MD thought you used to be able to own them, but could not have them shipped into the state. I am not sure about now, but I think with that new law they have down there they cant. Hopefully that does not change in PA for some time.I offer discounts on freeze dried foods, knives and other prepping products.
