Pickerel Inn -- Dingman's Ferry
My dad and I bought a Kel-Tec PF-9 at Pickerel Inn on 402 in Dingman's Ferry a few days ago. The price was right and the transfer was smooth.
We stop in every now and again on our way to Lord's Valley. The owners are always happy to bullshit with us while we stand around kicking tires. They're good people.

by chance did you happen to notice if they had the python still?? They had a real nice colt python, in either nickle or SS. was a nice piece, just curious if it ever sold.

The Python was still there as of the other day. I really, really had to resist the urge to ask Larry if I could fondle it.

My dog "Ruger" is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That's almost $21.00 in dog money.
Pray for our troops....and a little extra for our snipers.

Yup, Larry and Theresa are always happy to take care of us. I've got to go back in and take a look at some of the compact autos he had the next time I'm up that way (and my wallet's thicker).
Nothing feels as good as walking out of a store with a sack full of ammo, a Taylor ham sandwich and a cup of coffee.

That is refreshing. Many dealers give you the hairy eyeball when you answer "just looking". I can't even count the times I was "just looking" at something at a dealer (gun, car, appliance, etc.) with no intention of buying, then left with a shiny new gun, car, TV, etc.

Sorry for bumping this thread but do you know if the Pickerel Inn accepts ammo deliveries? I am thinking about buying some ammo online but most places won't ship to your home, however they ship to FFL dealers. It would be awesome if they would accept delivery since I only live a few miles from them.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

I've driven past that place thousands of times and I never knew they sold guns. I thought it was just a fishing tackle store. I will have to check it out now.
