Legal paperwork filed. Wouldn*t this fall under preemption?
This is not a preemption case. It is really about Philadelphia delaying the constitutional and statutory rights of the plaintiffs. Dittos for other counties experiencing delays.

Given the extra steps required to even apply/issue a permit (fingerprinting/interview with detective), that would fall under preemption Though, correct? Would that be the next step in this fight, to file a lawsuit for that?

I get what it’s about at the heart of the matter...they shouldn’t be pushing it out to Jan 2022 for appointments. Many others around that area (Montco/Chester/Delaware co) are doing the same thing I’ve heard. Berks, I had mine in a week after mailing in the money order and application for renewal. Kudos to sheriff weaknecht and his staff on that

Thanks. This is technically Gun Owners Foundation, our 501c3 but it is part of the GOA family.

That's a very good question you raise about preemption. I would have to discuss that with our attorney.

If Philly is really pushed back to Jan 2022, my LTCF expires Feb '22 i believe, i'd be willing to be a plaintiff if needed. Let m know the details and i'll see if i can help.

Did Ben Franklin have to apply for a LTCF? Hell no! Constitutional Carry for Pennsylvania NOW!
