Default Gman Sporting Arms - State College, PA

Anybody ever done on-line business with this company?

    https://www.gmansportingarms.com/about-us

They say they are located in State College, PA. When you search the address given a picture of a residence comes up - not necessarily a red flag as they say they have a home office and also a remote shipping center. Their "About Us' is very convincing, but would like to hear from someone that has actually done business with them. Too many scammers out there to take a chance on an untested entity. Appreciate any help.

    Adios,

Supposedly legit. They have some of the best ammo prices online but the shipping charges more than makes up the difference.

They wanted $60 to ship 10 boxes of .308.

I almost bought from them because their prices were better than most, but as mentioned above, their shipping prices are ridiculous. Pretty much more than made up the difference, so I ended up buying from Rivertown Munitions, also PA based, instead.

Pretty much what I thought. My folks used to live out there - if they were still alive it would be worth it to visit them and pick up an order.

UPDATE: after an ordering SNAFU at the warehouse, the suppressor showed up 4 weeks later. They could have been a little more proactive, but after I made a couple followup calls, they got one it, tracked its status and got it in two days later.
I went into their warehouse to do the eForm4, which went smoothly, and to comp me for my wait, they let me shoot a couple mags of 300BLK through a suppressed SBR and a couple mags of 9mm through a suppressed 2011pistol at their backyard range.
Form 4 was approved 4 business days later, and pick-up was a quick process. He gave me a handful of 158gr 9mm subsonics to test it out while I was there.

BOTTOM LINE: The place is LEGIT.
Aside from the slow Form3 transfer from the warehouse to them, the process was quick and easy. The nice part is that this was deeply discounted AND they're an FFL, so no need for an extra NFA transfer fee vs buying from Locked & Loaded, etc.
Most places with prices like these are in the midwest, so it's nice to have one in PA. The savings on the suppressor ($550 OTD vs. $847 OTD) paid for the tax stamp and 6 boxes of ammo!
PROS: Great prices, good service and nice folks.
CON: A lot of firearms and accessories listed as "in-stock" on their website actually have to be ordered in by them. Assume that will be the case especially if you're buying any oddball items.
