Still no power

Well, I was jonesing for some poofa so I hooked the computer up to the generator so I can check out what I missed. I have to take it back to my bro's house, so I got about 15 minutes of checking the forums then who knows when i'll be back.

We're on a well, so we don't have any water either.

Was that from all the wind the other night?
We got hammered up here, I spent a hour or two picking up sticks & limbs out of the yard yesterday. Never lost power but I thought for sure the big ass Maple tree beside my house might come down.

There's still alot of people without power.

Neighbors down the road have it, they say we might have it today or maybe not for another day or two.

I was at a friends house for the game and when their power went out we went home.


Barely mad it home and had to navigate around 4 downed trees in a 5 mile stretch. Luckily I had 4 wheel drive or I never would've made it. We also lost a 100+ year old oak at the end of the driveway.

Thanks, you don't realize how much you come to rely on something until you don't have it.


We have oil lamps, head lamps, candles, and flashlights for light. Radios but having no running water is a bitch.


We've been using rain water to flush the toilets and wash dishes, and we have bottled stuff for cooking. Coleman stove is kicking ass.


Bigest thing was no internet. I've been bored out of my mind. Went to my ex's last night for a hot shower.

We lost power around 8:30 Sunday night. Didn't get it back til 9:30 last night. Still don't have power where I work in Cranberry so I get another day off.
