Hello guys! how are you all. a while ago i read a post which said all the top ar 15 models actually are made by 4 companies and then they stick a bushmaster, armalite, dpms, smith and wesson label on it. if this is true do you guys know who "really" manufactures smith and wesson ar 15s.

Have read that Stag Arms did the earliest S&W MP15, then S&W themselves took over full production.
Have no idea about the urban legend of "all ARs come from 4 sources". Would be ironic if Olympic Arms - 2nd oldest full-AR mfg in the USA - was one of the 4...
