Top irritating remarks heard as a knowledgeable firearms owner
Not in any specific order
1. Calling your LTCF a carry permit
2. Asking how or talking about firearm registration in Pa
3. Calling a magazine a clip
4. Being too lazy to look around the site or read the sticky before posting
5. The general misconception by the public that more gun laws equates to lower crime rates. The phrase "Common sense gun laws" gives me nightmares.
Overall, I think the lack of respect for the consitution itself just irks me.
Im interested to hear what the forum has to add.

6- Using the term "assault rifle"
7- Calling anything black tactical, thus expensive.
8- Calling anything more than 2 guns an "arsenal"
I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

#2 gets to me
the more we act as if there is registration and allow our police to use the sales databse as just that the closer we get to de-facto registration.
drives me nuts
registration = confiscation = genocide
the "common sense" part just amuses me.
When someone brings it up its just a good exuse to bring up reasonable restrictions on freedom of speech, or freedom of the press.
those usually can be pretty good conversations.Last edited by Shawn.L; June 9th, 2009 at 09:24 PM.

"Will a double action trigger give me faster double taps?"
"I'm not too worried about a holster, it carries just fine in my waistband."
"See, it has a metal clip on the holster, so I can just wear it outside my pants without a belt."
"Oh no, don't shoot, ha ha ha."
"I'll need to remove your weapon from the holster, for safety."
"Do you have a permit for that gun?" ("No I don't have a permit for that gun. You got a permit to ask stupid questions?" -Trace Atkins)
"It's uncomfy to carry a 1911 IWB."

"It's unsafe/irresposible to carry +1." ~ YOUTUBE dude
"You do know you are breaking the law? You can't carry your pistol like that." ~ too many people to list
"LTCF= License To Conceal Firearms" ~ Friends dad
The one that gets me the most pissed:
"The M1911A1 has a fatal flaw that prohibits..." ~ 5ShotWhen you are called a racist, it just means you won an argument with an Obama supporter.

"Why do you have to carry that with you everywhere you go?" That really irks me for some reason. I don't know why, it just does.

"I don't think you need THAT many guns."
I usually agree with the first three words out of a liberal's mouth. When I make that point to them I always get a dumb, deer in the headlights stare."Tolerance is the virtue of the man without convictions." G.K. Chesterton

Re: Top irritable remarks heard as a knowledgeable firearms owner
Television shows that always find out who the "registered" owner of the gun is.
Television shows that perpetuate the ability to match a bullet to a gun 95% of the time with 90% accuracy. (news flash, they tried that in real life, didn't work even once)
As mentioned before, people asking if you have a license/permit to own your gun.
People who say that appeasement works best when faced with a violent attacker. (second news flash, that didn't even work with Hitler)
Peoples attempt at making you feel like an outcast when they find out you are a gun owner i.e. blaming you for crime.
People who claim to know the law about gun ownership/carry but got that law degree from watching Law and Order or CSI: Miami
