Re: S&W 625
MSRP on the 625 JM 4 incher is about 1000 USD.
They can be had on the used market for about 700 USD.
The 625 is a damn fine revolver, worth every penny as far as I am concerned.Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

Re: S&W 625
To get the best estimate we need to know the exact model number (625-2, -3, -4, etc.), if it may be a special variation, etc. With that info, a better price can be determined. If it is a plain jane stock 625 the book prices can go from $375 to $625 depending on the condition. That said, they are fairly popular so the selling price will probably be more. You could also go to Gunbroker or GunsAmerica to see that any on there are selling for.

Re: S&W 625
A generic 4 inch 625-8 will go between $500 and $600 used. Finding one under $500 in good condition is a long search with a little luck needed.

Re: S&W 625
To do it all over again, I would get a "standard" 625. I'm not in love with the grips (took off, put on Hoagues) or the serrated trigger. I think the only other difference is the brass bead front site, which I do like.
