    Default PA Drivers License Expired

Just found out thatmy PA Drivers license expired at the end of Jan (the friendly TSA agent was kind enough to let me know... before performing the Male assist patdown)

    I have a LTCF

Can I still legally CC untill my PA DL is renewed, or do I have to suspend that priviledge until that Identification card can be renewed?

Can I carry my passport as ID until the PA DL is renewed.

    Thanks

Just a side note, I believe you can expedite getting your new DL by going online to the penndot driver services website.

I fail to see the need to have a drivers license in order to carry a handgun.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

While you may need a valid DL in order to get your LTCF (in some counties), you don't need to have one to carry a firearm.

Several of the bigger AAA offices have instant renewal for driver's licence.

You can renew your DL online on the PennDot site. After renewing you will be able to print the page and that shows that you DL is renewed. You carry that page with your expired DL until you get the new photo card.

Then your good to go all the way around including buying firearms.
