Gun Transfer/Gift
I own a Tarus 9mm and I want to give it to my second cousin. It isn't worth much, that's why it is a gift. He has always wanted to own a handgun so I figure it would be a cheap way for him to get acquainted with one. My question is, do I have to transfer it thru an FFL holder, or because it isn't a sale, I'm in the clear? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Re: Gun Transfer/Gift
As the big dog said, you can only do this through a legal transfer at a FFL and your cousin will have to undergo the PA background check. Hopefully he hasn't done anything in the past that will prohibit him from owning/possessing guns.
