Question for you Babmi killer types
Seriously, I found a pile of guts in my back yard with no other sign of a kill, no fur or blood. What kind of animal or bird would gut an animal the size of a rabbit or cat like that? It was under a tree, but near the outer branches and close to the wood line.
I never saw that before. Just curious.Veritas Vos Liberat

Re: Question for you Babmi killer types
being the size of a rabbit or cat, it certainly wasn't a "Babmi"..... was probably a groundhog, ask the groundhog-killer-types maybe? or maybe someone lost their lunch?

Re: Question for you Babmi killer types
I have seen where hawks will turn an animal inside out and all you see is an inside out skin, done through a hole in the belly, and the stripped leg bones hanging out, and the skull and tail still attached. However-no guts.
The only time I have seen just a pile of guts is with my cats, sometimes they hack up the guts of mice, chipmunks or squirrels. Just once in a while I find rodent guts on the front sidewalk, it's not a normal everyday thing.LOL, I am a woman...

The war is coming to the streets of America and if you are not keeping and bearing and practicing with your arms then you will be helpless and you will be the victim of evil.

Re: Question for you Babmi killer types
Hawks or owls.
I have never seen it, but my father tells me that sometimes they will hit a rabbit so hard that the guts will come out on the spot. But especially from where you described it to be. They could have been feeding overhead. Usually they will pluck them though, so you would see some fur. Most likely first senario.
BTW, I resent being called a bambi killer. Especially when you use it as a degrogatory term. I'm a hunter and a nature lover. I like to see things in balance.
