Tanner's had them without night sites (which does me no good)

    www.tannerssportcenter.com

I believe they were $499 w/o night sights when I called (plus PICS and tax)

    Good luck with it.

i suggest finding a used one for around $400.

personally i doubt i will ever buy a new glock...i see no reason to. they are practically indestructable. as long as there is nothing obviously wrong with it, it will very most likely give you another 100,000 rounds of trouble free shooting. and, if you happen to get the 1 in a million used glocks that actually has a problem, you just send it to glock and the rebuild it for free.

    just an idea.

another advantage to buying used is you can get a 2nd gen and not have to deal with those stupid finger grooves.

    http://www.glockworld.com/category/869-Glock_9mm.aspx

    OD Green Pistol = $ 469
    Matte Finish = $ 506

    Why such a price difference?

Yeah I know it makes sense but for years I've had a No Sell gun policy meaning that if I buy it I own it. In the past I have regreted every sale I've ever made so now if I don't want it I don't buy it. So, usually I tend to go with NIB whenever possible.

As this is my 1st Glock I'm trying to learn as much as possible.

How bad are the grooves? I've shot with them and it did not bother me but it was only a few mags full of bangs.
