    Default Received my C&R yesterday...

now it's time to use it! Well not quite yet, I got to finish a couple of projects on the burners but after that, WOOT!

OK so I know of Classic Firearms and Aim honor C&R. Also here Brownells and midway do too but I know one stopped within the last year. Do I have to call up and send them a copy or can I just fax it?

Looking into getting a bound book.

Any pro tips for a new Cruffler?

I received my C&R about two weeks ago.
I followed instructions and made my own
Log book. Midway no longer offers discounts
    To C&R holders.

So far I purchased an Ortgies 7.65 that is in awesome
    Condition. Great deal too.

    Now I am after a 30 carbine and a Mauser M1934.
Lots of gun auctions in PA. That's where you will find
    The deals.

I just made mine with word document and columns of what is required, nothing fancy. Have had mine for over 4 years now and 2 pages worth of purchases - has paid for itself over and over not only in dollars and cents but convenience of no ffl, etc., etc.. Enjoy!

I'd get my C&R license, but don't like the idea of having BATFE agents in my house wasting my time doing an inspection. Of course, you can shlep all your C&R guns down to the BATFE office, but that can be quite a far drive in some cases.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

They really don't care that much about the C&R people..... We are good ones that BATF doesn't have to worry about. They have bigger fish to fry,,,, investigate,,,give guns to,,,,

Never mind,,, I can only get on another list if I keep on going.

Having had a C&R for 20 plus years, I have not "yet" been visited and I do buy a reasonable number. Dave_n

If you have an Ollie's near you they have a very nice NRA bound book for $7.00 (where I got mine).

C&R is so cheap and easy everyone should have one. Picked up an SKS last week on mine. Swapped copies of our FFL's, exchanged cash for rifle and walked away happy.
