Where has all the ammo gone?
Most online stores have next to nothing, and all local Walmarts have nothing. I certainly do not want to pay top dollar at the range. Anyone know where to get quality brand ammo for a good price? Looking for 9mm and .38 special. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Where has all the ammo gone?
I've still been getting both at Walmart. But I have to stop in almost everyday. I have yet to hit a day when they have 357mag. I've been getting Blazer Brass 9mm for 8.96 a box. (50)
I stopped in Saturday and they had practically nothing."When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.-Thomas Jefferson

Don't know where it has gone, but if you happen to find it could you check and see if my 401K is there too? Since that went missing around the same time....

Re: Where has all the ammo gone?
it must be. I go to the small Walmart on Fruitville pike. I went Friday then again today and they were pretty well cleaned out both days. They do have rifle cartridges. Very little pistol. I saw some Remmington 550s, 22 brick. They must be new, never saw them there before. I'm pretty well stocked for what I need and I am starting to reload. Also, Shydas was pretty well stocked with everything a few weeks ago.

Re: Where has all the ammo gone?
The EBR ammo is out there - but not in the quantities of the cheap EU ammo we used to buy for our EBRs. Now I'm only finding the reloadable commercial-made (and expensive) ammo in my EBR calibers.
Shooting these expensive to shoot semi's is becoming a luxury anymore, which is why I turn to my .22s and high-end airsoft in times of no ammo.

It's even tough to find reloading related stuff right now. Midway is sold out of most of their presses.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

I've noticed that since Midway starting sponsoring the Wed Outdoor Channel gun night, their prices have not been as competitive. Well their dealer prices anyway. I would also try grafs.com or natchezss.com
