Exclamation What's the deal with .45 ammo and .45firearms shortage

What's the deal with all the 45s depleting and are more expensive than 9mm handguns which hold a lot more .

    I shoot and own 45s .
I have plenty it's just crazy out there and they are charging outrageous price .
Will they come back down on prices ?when ?
    Rant over .thanks

Are you saying you *just* noticed the shortages, and you don't know what's behind it all?
    .
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

If your question is asking why the lower capacity .45 caliber guns and ammo are also being bought up like crazy, the answer is because gun owners in states with magazine restrictions are buying them. The 1911 is one of the only full sized handguns with a standard capacity in compliance with New York's 7 round mag limit.

The "deal" is that it starts with the letter "A" and ends in "MMO."

I'd bet half of .45 ACP goes through firearms other than handguns. At least a quarter.

It is my ardent hope that most 5th graders can tell you how "cowboys and Indians" turned out. Lesson learned.

The new game in town is "cowboys and globalists".

There are multiple boxes that guard both freedom and justice -- and a just people use them in order. They are:
    • The soapbox.
    • The ballot box.
    • The jury box.
    • And finally, if all other means of redress are obstructed by those who would or do practice evil, the cartridge box.

Hence, the shortages, for all the other preceeding boxes appear to be empty...

Most references speak of The Four Boxes. I personally don't like it because it leaves a very important box out.

    Here are my Five Boxes:

    -The Mail Box
    -The Soap Box
    -The Ballot Box
    -The Jury Box
    -The Ammo Box

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Lack of voting by people that support the second amendment happened. We have to encourage shooters to register and vote. This BS has to end.

Frankly I didn't think it would impact this part of pa I'm in ?
    I'm well stocked on 45ammo though .
I know why the high cap 45 are gone .lol
    I'm also a reg voter .

I noticed the shortage of ammo a little but the handguns is what opened my eyes when I see no 45 ammo and no 45 pistols instock besides glock 21 used .
    I feel sheepish though .
Are thing going to go back to normal soon?
