1919 Building
We had a get together today [and tomorrow] at my shop to build a few 1919 semi-auto's [4]
Crappy cellphone pictures but you get the Idea.
If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

Looks like a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind having an M1919A6 just for fun. Here is a FA version I got to shoot. It was built on a reciever bought from a gentleman in Florida. He is supposed to have nearly $1,000,000 worth of registered M1919 recievers in his posession.

Re: 1919 Building
that's a parkerizing tank and used for parkerizing the steel as soon as it came out of the blast cabinet.
My question: Did you get it from Brownells, or another source. Right now, I'm having a hard time spending $60 plus for a tank to park one piece......
Looks good, Btw. Helluva shop you got there!

Re: 1919 Building
Correct, the tank on the stove is for parkerizing, that tank belongs to the guy in the first & last Picture [not me] he bought it from 'Aw-sim' out of Pittsboro, IN. I'm not sure what he paid for it.
It did make me decide to stay with a smaller tank that what I was planing.
I'll end up bending up my own tank and TIGing it together, I have plenty of SS sheet at the shop to make one.
