Are these for an attack gun?? seriously? 0_o
So I was at a local Wal-mart tonight checking out what they had as far as cheap hunting vests for my cousin. We weren't really happy with the selection although still early they had no vests that weren't those cheap ass ones in a plastic bag. We were getting ready to leave with what we did pick up when this guy (maybe mid to late 30's with a "certified redneck" ball cap on) comes up and asks the clerk if he can see "those bullets"
He pointed to 2 boxes of Remington 308. As the clerk opens the glass to get them, the guy asks, "Are... are.... those ok for deer? I mean I don't want 'em if they're for an attack gun" I actually face palmed, my fiancee who knows almost nothing about firearms starts cracking up. I should have stuck around to see what the clerk had said in response... I laughed all the way to the front checkout where I saw him in line behind us, no bag, no attack bullets.
As we walked to the car my fiancee said "I cant believe that man is going to walk around the woods with a gun" I said "Don't worry he didn't get those attack bullets"
Where does all this misinformation come from?

Where else? The main stream media. They get their BS from the Brady Bunch and pass it on as honest journalism.

I'd love to get some of those "attack bullets" for my "assault rifle." I bet they would kill better!

yeah, the "attack bullets" are over-kill.
I prefer the "tickling-bullets" myself.==============

That's a flash hider dummy.
When I worked at Wegmans, I had a couple old guys come through my line talking about a Luger the one guy owned.
He kept saying he'd like to shoot it but those damn 9mm Luger bullets are like $100 for a box of 20. Guess his time spent in the Army in the early 40s wasn't wasted huh?

I don't use those attack bullets. I load my guns with Stay-Puft Marshmallow Rounds. That's why I need 30 of them at a time.

I'm sufficiently afraid. I better lock all my bullets outside my house, so they can't get me.
