need help please.....

i put a new ecm in my 1998 dodge ram,now none of the gauges work and the seat belt,brake,security and gas lights are on,plus the odometer is blinking. on the plus side the truck fired up just like nothing was ever wrond with it. any ideas or suggestions?

Wrong ECM, or it needs flashed at a Mopar store.

Yeah goto dodge, have them reflash the pcm. should only cost you around 103 bucks after tax....


side note... YOU JUST CAN'T GO THROWIN ECM'S AROUND WILLY NILLY!!! This is the age of computers... not like the old distributors... these things need to be electronically calibrated!

already knew that they needed flashing-it was done from the company i bought it from.i talked to the guy 30 minutes ago,he said it sounds like a programming error. i have to check the VIN number between the new ecm and whats on the truck. thanks though.
