Default Holster Recommendations for M&P compact

Just got a S&W M&P 9mm compact. What's a good holster for it for cc? BTW, the gun fits comfortably under the belt w/ no holster. It is very secure, but the bottom of the trigger guard is exposed. Is it dangerous to carry this way?

What kind of safeties does it have?

I carry a Glock and would never carry with the trigger guard exposed, for obvious reasons.

I have a kydex IWB made by Custom Carry Concepts called the Looper and I like it a lot. It's comfortable and holds the gun very securely. It's still my first IWB so I don't have any comparisons to make, but I also plan to pick up a Crossbreed Supertuck soon too.

I carry my XD Subcompact in a Crossbreed Supertuck. I love it. Very comfortable.

A top and side view of the holster. The clips are different now. Picture of them below.

They have changed the clips to this style here. Which I like a lot more. Crossbreed also has one heck of a warranty.

I carry a full size in a looper. It's very comfortable, and it wasn't expensive either. You cannot tuck in a shirt over top of it. I also have a Comp-tac C-Tac, for a different gun. When I wear that, you would have a very hard time finding my gun, except for the belt clips.

Since the M&Ps only safty is the trigger, I would not recomend carrying it without a holster. If something were to catch in the tripper gaurd, and god forbid you pulled it out and it went off.

My M&P 9c rides in a DeSantis speed scabbard OWB holster. If I want to OC I can put it into a DeSantis thumb break, which is the same thing as the speed scabbard with a retention feature.

For my M&PC I use the Cross Breed Supertuck for IWB, and the Don Hume First Agent slide holster for OWB.

    Both work great.
