The ad seems to lampoon the whole "Buy American" reflex that it wants to promote. Bold move. Nicely done, though.

aren't there lots of plastic pieces on a Henry rifle?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

A couple. On my wife's H001 the rear barrel band and the front sight/barrel band were plastic. I called up Henry and requested the metal replacement rear barrel band. The person I spoke with was Mr. Imperato himself. He offered to send me the replacement band for free. They also have a metal replacement front sight/ barrel band, but I opted to put a Williams Shorty Ramp and fiber optic front sight on instead. I used a barrel band from a Winchester 9422 to replace the front band since Henry didn't have one that would fit.

Henry is a first rate company with a first rate owner. I'd recommend their guns - with or without plastic pieces - to anyone in a heartbeat.
