Walmart Palmyra-Management says A OK
After almost a year of Ocing in Wal Marts all over the eastern half of PA with no problem what so ever I finally got stopped in the Palmyra Wal Mart last night.
An elderly greeter with a European accent wasn't sure I was allowed in with a gun. I grinned, Mrs. Crimson groaned and rolled her eyes. The greeter consulted another employee who said no. I said yes, do it all the time, lot's of different Wal Marts. She got another higher up employee. I added I already know your corporate policy. This one made a call. I was then told it's OK to OC there, go on in.
Bought 4 50 round boxes of .40. They had plenty of that, but nothing else for handguns.
On the way out the Mrs. Crimson had to make a nature stop so I waited by the aforementioned greeter with my gun and ammo. She was friendly, as was everyone involved. If you don't know who your state legislators are go here:

put your zip plus 4 in the box in the upper right hand corner.

Re: Walmart Palmyra-Management says A OK
My hypothesis is that they (the WalMart exec. buyers) needed to 'concentrate' on one primary caliber during these days of "limited quantities" from the manufacturers so they asked someone (probably someone with a "cop husband" or "cop wife" or someone who is, or knows, a "firearms enthusiast" - or, maybe, they consulted a "gun magazine") "Say? What's the most popular handgun ammo??"
But, of course, that's just a guess.
.
ETA: Of course, a more accurate answer to such a question would have been: either .38 Special or 9mm Luger (I think they are about neck and neck these days).
