Default New Member, New Gun (Robinson XCR)

So far, I have about 800 rounds through the gun and not only is it amazingly accurate with the Trijicon Tripower, but it has been 100% failure free and is the most fun gun that I have shot. It's got little to no recoil and the ergonomics of the gun are just perfect. The only future plans that I have for it, is to SBR it.

And with two of my other guns...

Noted! I will have to get some more!

And thanks for the replies, it's definitely a fun gun. Tomorrow I will finally lower the gas setting to 3, and see how much less recoil there is (even though there is hardly any to begin with).

DrakinClaw, the Robinson Armament XCR is basically, but not directly, an AR/AK/FAL hybrid gun. www.robarm.com

Hows the folding colapsable stock? It is a sweet rifle just wondering how that stock holds up.

It's a Vltor collapsible stock with mil spec buffer. It's not going to "fail", it's a top notch, and not exactly cheap stock. As far as the actual folding part, it's 100% adjustable for stiffness. I have only folded/unfolded the stock about 50 times, but no change in looseness/tightness yet.

OMG that's hot dude! I've never seen on before this pic. Now you're gonna make me spend 3-4 times my AK budget aren't ya?

XCR Specs for anyone that's looking.

If you don't mind my asking, what does a unit as configured above run?

    EDIT: Better specification link

EDIT II: Looks like they're about to roll out with a 7.62 conversion kit. They estimate the cost will be 400-450. Pretty friggin cool though! Source

You can get them for exactly the MSRP that is listed on the website, so my exact gun was right below $1500 (I believe it was $1495). I will be buying the conversion kit, and possibly even another XCR. Obviously, I love the gun.
