    Default Carry in Gettysburg

Hi all. I will be taking a weekend trip to Gettysburg next month and want to find out if CC if legal or not?? I do have a PA LTCF. I read the: where you can and cannot carry wepons in PA and saw this : ****The Federal Parks and Reserves are no longer be prohibited due to Department of Interior policy change. Buildings, restrooms, ranger stations, and visitor centers are still off-limits at National Parks and Reserves.****

If i am understanding this right, I am good except for the visitors center.
    Thanks Pete

I think that might have been changed by an activist judge. Someone should be along soon to clarify that.

Yup, changed by a judge. Ya know, the men in black robes who get to make laws? The men who comprise both the judicial and legislative branches?

I can tell you this from personal experience, most NPS rangers in Gettysburg couldn't care less. YMMV and thats sure as hell not my ADVISE to go about breaking the law. Of course, some of us don't recognize that the government has the power to MAKE that "law", so....

A US District Judge in DC has issued a temporary injunction that prevents the new carry rule from being implemented until the underlying suit, which seeks to nullify the rule in its entirety, is decided. As a result the previous proscription against NPS carry is still the operative law - ie national park carry is illegal.

    Read the TRO ruling here.
