    Default Targetmaster radio ad

I just heard a radio ad that stated that targetmaster is running a gun buyback sponsored by the BATF and they are giving up to $ 500 for a gun.

Is this correct? Are they buying them to sell or to destroy them?

If to destroy what kind of gun shop is this??????

If it is a destructive buy back program I have yet another reason to not go deal with those (edit) guys (edit)

I was in there yesterday helping my cousin buy a gun.

Clerk on the phone was informing a caller to take his gun to a gun buy back to get 100 bucks for it. Guess the caller was inquiring to trade it in but it was a POS

Sounds like one those car dealers that advertise " We pay up to $5000 for your clunker" just to get you in the door to buy new. That or they need some used inventory.
I can't see the ATF doing a buyback at a gun shop.

Sounds like they probably just made that ATF part up for a chance to get a few dummies to come in and give up their late family members pricey gun for an 1/8th of what it costs.

The ATF part probably just speaks to their FFL.

They are looking for stock to sell like everybody else, if you can't find new, look for quality used that you can resell. Same as a car lot.
