Default OCing Mt. Biker at Laurel Highland Trails

Was out with a group of friends for a big Mt. Bike ride in Forbes Forest at Laurel Highlands trail network. At the end of the day, as we were sitting around eating after a good days ride, a guy rides by, a stainless semi in a pancake holster on his right rear hip.

First time I ever saw anyone OCing and it was a guy on a Mt. Bike.

I smiled as he rode past and hoped he would have a good day riding, as I sat there with my pistol under my shirt on my hip. Guess I'm not the only one that carries while Mt. Biking.

My wife and I rode our Motorcycles to IUP this weekend (visit our daughter there) I saw another motorcyclist OC'ing there. I felt the same way, maybe we're starting to get some where.

I ride with a g27 in my Camelback. I crash too often to have it on the hip. The Wissahickon still attracts too many dirtbags and packs of altered youths.

And why didn't you come to the TEA Party Saturday evening?
It started at 5:00pm and lasted till 7:00pm right in front of the Indiana Court House.

We didn't get down there until 5:30, and then I saw several signs, I live about 2 hrs to the north and didn't know about it until I got down there.

Some 12 or 13 years ago I used to ride my bike on the trail from Rockwood down to the other side of the tunnel. Back then the tunnel was closed and you had to ride a little walking path around it.

Anyway, I always carried my Colt Trooper .357 in a holster on my belt. There was always crazy looking teenagers and transient looking people on that trail.

One day I saw a guy with an old beat up Peewee type bicycle laying on one of the rest benches with a big pile of beer cans and two empty cardboard beer cases on the ground around him. LOL
