Default CCI CB Long .22 in Browning Buckmark?

Guys, will a CCI CB Long .22 round work well in a Browning Buckmark pistol?

I want to try this particular ammo since it's being referred to as an extremely quiet.

    Thanks,

    Gene K

I have never tried it in mine, but I suspect it wouldn't cycle the action completely. If you don't mind having to cycle the slide each time, they could work for you.

    What Bloom said..

CB's have little to no powder in them, pretty much propelling the bullet by the priming explosion alone.

I don't mind cycling the slide manually on those occasions when I would use the CB rounds. The main concern for me is whether there could be any damage to the pistol from using this ammo.

Shouldn't damage the pistol any. only thing with not cycling the slide is if it kinda cycled the slide and jammed an empty in there.

They're virtually silent out of a rifle. From 20 yards, the bullet hitting the groundhog is louder than the muzzle report.

They may be louder (relatively speaking) out of a shorter barrel.

The only damage they could do is possible a barrel lodged squib. I'd keep my senses honed and try to keep track of whether you see or hear a hit on the target. CB's have been known to not exit the barrel on some tight bores or really underpowered charges.
