Default Changes to USCCA self-defense insurance policy

I got this from USCCA the other day. These things are devilishly hard to evaluate, but these changes seem to address most, if not all, of the criticisms I've seen levied against them

Default Re: Changes to USCCA self-defense insurance policy

I was told that this coverage will not be valid if the person defending themselves has had ANYTHING alcoholic to drink prior to the defensive act. If true, that would mean if I was out to the movies with my wife and we stopped on the way home to have a single glass of wine, I would not be covered if I were subsequently attacked in the parking lot and defended myself. While I am not suggesting alcohol and guns are ever a good mix, I think the insurance should take into account one's relative inebriation, or lack thereof. Obviously, states like NJ who prohibit carry in anyplace that serves alcohol, the problem is self-limiting. But not in PA for example.
