    Default Colt 6920/ACOG and Duracoat Questions

    I have a Colt 6920 with a TA31 ACOG. I just want to know if anyone knows if it safe to Duracoat an ACOG? I personally don't want to do it being that I don't trust myself. This leads me to my next question, is there anywhere around Pittsburgh that provides such a service? Thank you.

    Don't most ACOGs have a rubberized coating? I am pretty sure that you cannot duracoat rubber.

    no, they dont, Aimpoints do now.

    however, if you have to bake it, dont apply it to optics.
