Triflow as a gun oil?
How well would it work if I used Triflow in place of Hoppes oil? I have 2 little .25 ounce pen oilers and they came prefilled with Triflow. Instead of dumping it into my other bottle, I was wondering how it works for gun use.

Re: Triflow as a gun oil?
I used Triflow to lubricate a customized Colt Series 70 .45ACP back in the early '80s with no issues. I had been advised to use the Triflow for the range and to use Break Free for daily carry. I did as I was advised.

Re: Triflow as a gun oil?
I used Triflow on all my guns back in the 90's because it was considered the best lube around at the time. It is still good ! Don't you love the way it makes your gun smell ?
It is an excellent lubricant too. Like Rem Oil but better !You Can Take My Gun When You Pry it From My Dead, Cold, Hand !

Re: Triflow as a gun oil?
I have used this on RC cars, including motor bearings and bushings, as well as fans and this stuff will quiet a noisy fan on your computer with a single drop for a LONG TIME! I forgot when I oiled the fan actually. I will use what I have then fill the containers with Hoppes. One oil, one cleaner, but I may just refill the oil one with more Triflow since I have a 2 ounce bottle as well.
