“Byle claimed he was surprised that it fired as he is in the habit of keeping the chamber under the hammer as well as the next chamber empty for safety,” the affidavit said.

Police recovered several weapons from the home, and believe they have recovered the gun used in the shooting, police said.When detectives asked Byle where he got the gun, he claimed that a former girlfriend bought it and allegedly left it at the home after they broke up.As it turned out, Byle shouldn’t have had the gun at all because he was convicted of felony robbery in 2004, which makes it illegal for him to possess a firearm.



Wonder how long they will keep this scumbag locked up?

Wonder how long they will keep this scumbag locked up?

Considering he's already a felon, he'll be out on probation only probably. Now if he was a law-abiding citizen with a clean history...he'd probably get the book thrown at him as an example.
