Century HK93 clone
while visiting my local gun shop i saw what i first thought were real HK93 rifles but ended up being clones of the 93 built my century. to my surprise they looked pretty decent. they appear to have the same finish as original HK93's. the finish was smooth and even through out the rifle and the color of the receiver matched the color of the barrel. it comes with FH, wide forearm, straight stock, carry handle and one 40 rd mag. even the internals look good with minimal if any wear and tear. price was 800 bucks OTD which is pretty good considering original 93's cost upwards of 3K and the vector clones started out at 1500.
i decided to take a chance so i traded in a pistol that's been gathering dust in my safe and that i've never fired so i only have 400 cash into the rifle. if this rifle runs it'll be a great buy and a great shooter that you can have a lot of fun with and not worry about ruining it's value. crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Very nice. If you get a chance to shoot it, please give us a range report. Accuracy and ammo info would be great.

Re: Century HK93 clone
I had one just like what you described when I lived in Florida . Paid about the same price to , although I didnt get the bipod or carry handle
The only thing I had to do was break it down and give a good cleaning , not really sure if it had a cosmoline build up or what , but the action was REALLY stiff to cycle . Personally I prefer the ones with the wide , triangular shaped foregrip that look like the real HK 93 as opposed to the " vented " roundish style forend that I see on alot of the clones .
I mounted a Tapco Claw mount and a 6 pwr scope on mine and once dialed in it was accurate out to at least 500 yds from a rest . I've always been a big HK Fan , my wish list includes a Class III MP-5 Navy Lower , HK USP and USP Compact in .40 , and another HK 93 clone . If money was no object I'd kill for an HK UMP , even a clone
Best of luck with it , I have a factory HK-93 Owners Manual / Breakdown schematic laying around somewhere if you need , I could scan in and email to you . Now Im jealousSi vis pacem, para bellum

Re: Century HK93 clone
well i took the c93 to classic pistol today to see how it would run. after the 1st round was fired i had a double feed which was cause for concern but after that one hic-up the rifle ran 100%. i put a total of 250 rounds down range and the rifle ran like a champ with both brands of ammo i was using. since i was indoors distance was limited to 25 yards. right out of the box the rifle shot almost dead center and about 2" low without attempting to adjust the sites. other than 2-3 flyers out of the first group i was able to put 10 rds consistantly in a space the size of a silver dollar. overall i'm 100% pleased with the rifle and it certainly is a keeper. plus the price can't be beat but unfortunately the dealer i bought it from is sold out. to bad he only had 4 in stock i was tempted to buy another one after shooting mine.
i've attached my target and the rounds below center and in the 9 ring are one of the groups I shot with the c93. pretty good right out of the box without adjusting the sites.Last edited by wellcraft; March 7th, 2009 at 09:19 PM.

Re: Century HK93 clone
Nice! I didn't even know century made 93 clones. If you run some steel case stuff through it let us know how it works out. My 91's always fed it fine so your C93 should be alright. Is the chamber fluted like the originals?
