Georgia toddler fatally shoots himself.
Un-fucking-believable. Father left his 2 sons in a bedroom with a loaded handgun.

"Police said it's unclear if the father will face charges."
It seems like the only question should be - What charges will he face? I can't imagine any scenario where such an egregious act of negligence would not result in the father facing charges for his son's death. Us safety guys like to define an accident as an event that is unavoidable or unforeseen, there was no way to know it could happen. We always hear "it was an accident". Something like this is no accident. It's circumstances are understood to be contrary to a favorable outcome. It's only a matter of time until all the "holes" line up and a death occurs ( see swiss cheese theory").
