Default Can you dye G10 grips?

Has anyone tried to dye G10 grips? I got a set of grey and black grips that I thought would be darker and I don't like them. Instead of sending them back, I'm wondering if I should dye them a darker grey or just go completely black. What do you think?

Dying typically refers to approaching death or ceasing to exist. Dyeing refers to coloring something with a liquid, usually textiles, G10 grips or hair.
You don't become cooler with age, but you could care less about being cool, which is the only true way of being cool. This is called the Geezer's Paradox.

Not that I've ever done G10 grips but I have dyed alot of nylon over the years with Rit fabric dye. Mix up a batch, boil it, dip parts in, remove and rinse.

I doubt it would take... the epoxy holding all of it together likely will prevent the dye from asorbing

It can be done using RIT Dye. Knife guys have been doing this for years.

Well, it turned out purple but my wife likes it so the grips ended up on her Beretta
