    Default ATF Contact

I had a problem with my paperwork (thanks Stack for jinxing me).

My dealer responded right away. But after some time I made the mistake of leaving him two messages stating "call me WHEN back on track" rather than "call me" and now I don't want to bother him further.

Somebody please PM me with the phone number to check transfer status at ATF. And post in this thread after you PM me so other people know the issue is resolved and don't waste their time PM-ing me.

    Thanks.

Those guys at the ATF NFA transfer line have their "stuff" together. Very professional, fast, and to the point.

Not like being transferred 5 times to find someone that won't answer my question from a regulatory agency in NJ. Perhaps if NJ fired all 5 of those people and had the person that answered the phone give answers then they wouldn't be about to go bankrupt as a state.

I added the NFA Branch ATF link to the sticky on how to make/get NFA items in PA.
Should have had it there before, sorry about that.

btw, lucky yer geting into it now, not when DC had the job.
I waited 13months for a transfer there, and months just on F3s from dealer to dealer before i could even get the paperwork.

WV has it together, those DC GS asshats were complete non caring morons.

I asked for a PM because I was worried that posting the number would increase calls from people surfing the net, not involved in NFA, calling them and asking questions. I probably think too much.

    Yes ... you do.

You jinxed yourself stud! I am however the anti-buddha so that could have something to do with it.

I was debating on giving them a call myself just to see the status but I don't know if it'll psychologically make the wait worse for me

since it's the Customer Service # and not a direct line to anyone directly dealing w/ approving the forms it's not a problem

if they didn't want folks to be able to contact them, they would not have posted it on the ATF website
