    Come again? I'm a little slow, but this one really went over my head.

    So your family's buying you some nice baubles. As in, gun-related. So does mine (this year's example). This is fairly common, there's already been some discourse about guns as gifts (search results).

    Regarding your self-deprecation ->did you forget to buy them anything? (oops...if so, you're on your own there.)

    Regarding your sig line, some of us are still playing with 1903's:



    Regarding best use of finances, your call. Lots of folks might appreciate their gun show lay-away paid off, others would be grateful for financial assistance to pay for gun-related legal costs.
