    Default South of the Border!

    Greetings, folks...

Trapsed along this site from a few others I was reading and saw a lot of interesting information. I'm from northern Delaware, and, being the small state we are, don't have any type of FOA or CDL, so I thought I'd try to pop by here to see about meeting other folks and swapping stories.

Hopefully you all won't mind a Delaware hanger-on?

To be honest, none as of yet. I purchased my first firearm last week -- a Smith & Wesson Sigma 9mm VE, Allied Forces model. The wife is disallowing me to use it until I take my safety course (which can also be used to get my CCDW Permit for Delaware) which is this Sunday.

So, needless to say, I'm fairly stoked for this weekend. I have been up to Targetmaster on 202, just over the PA/DE line and fired off 50 rounds with one of their guns shortly before I made my purchase. So, I'll mostly be shooting for target/sport and home/personal defense.

    Welcome to the site.
    Thanks...

If you shoot 9mm, Walmart has Winchester 115gr, 100rnd boxes for $15.72. Bought out the one local to me this week.

I lived in Hockessin at my parents house for about 10 years.

Definitely -- the wife is insisting on it, but I've been obsessively researching and watching as much video material as I can, that I'm actually hoping there's not too much more I'll get out of the course.
