    Default Saw someone drop 20k

Well....I was in the gun store this evening and a gentlemen came in and filled out the necessary paperwork. Out comes this HUGE case(pelican) on wheels. It was a Barrett .50 cal....Very nice indeed. Then another box came out....pelican as well but significantly smaller. Popped that open and it was an actual HK MP5...I was about to drool. It was a transfer off of Gunbroker but wow the guy sure does have good taste. I wish I had that kind of money to blow.

I like the .50. It makes sure the FAA doesn't reroute planes over your house

Was it the M82 or the bolt action .50? Transferable MP5s are around 15,000 right? so that would leave only about 5 grand for the .50 and I thought the M82s were closer to 9,000.

Maybe they cut him a deal...ya know he did spend 20K and all...

For the record, that's crazy but I can believe it since nationwide stores/distributors are running out of everything

It's nice to hear about someone dropping 20k on firearms for a change, instead of in their 401k!

Thats a serious problem right there. Its irresponsible to spend that much money when you could be saving for your golden years.

Besides, if you dont have a retirement check coming in how else are you going to pay for ammo?

Hmpf, I was planning to buy an M82 this autumn, but ended up using the money as a down payment on a sports car instead... whoops.
