Default Securing your firearm... home and vehicle.

Hello all, I was wondering how most of you have chose to secure your firearms when you are leaving them either in your home or vehicle?

Sentry has some nice fire/water proof lockboxes for only forty dollars, however these could easily be carried out by a burglar.

Staples carries a safe (.5 cubic meters I believe) that can be bolted to the floor for just 100 bucks, I was considering purchase that for safe storage in my apartment. I currently have a single pistol.

    What do you all have?

At home I use a sentinel pistol cabinet that I picked up at Walmart for 20 bucks. Its bolted to an L shaped computer work center that weighs 250lbs empty so its not going anywhere. Sentinel is made by stack on.

For car I don't have anything yet but I'm planning to get a center of mass lock box. Its not armor plate but itll stop smasha nd grabs and all but the most determined thief.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

I hate the thought of leaving my gun in a vehicle but when I must, I use this
http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/product_detail.pl? and run it through the bottom of ths passenger seat. dir=/residential/bikesport/&displaynav=&sub_cat_id=D8400B&template=style When I transport into states that violate my 2nd Amendment Rights I use a small "fire box" http://www.sentrysafe.com/products/p...ail.aspx?s=166

At home I store my guns in a liberty safe. In the car I have a small gun safe that is secured to the seat strut.

I Think it is a center of mass safe. There was a gropu buy on the forum a year or so ago. I bought one for each vehicle.

A full size safe at home, bolted and screwed to the wall and floor. In the truck a small safe type box attached to the seat support with heavy cable.

I recommend the Center of Mass car safe too. See my review of it here:
